Designing discovery for a young audience means making the safe choice the default one: opt-in notifications only, minimal data collection, and age-appropriate design out of the box. Because a large share of Roblox players are minors, these are not settings a careful user has to find — they are how the product behaves before anyone touches a control.
Defaults do the protecting
Most people never change defaults, so the defaults have to be right. RIIP never messages you unless you asked it to — there is no re-engagement nagging — and we collect the minimum needed to run the service: the games you search, a coarse region for routing, and account details. We do not sell personal data and we do not run third-party ad or tracking pixels.

Honesty as a safety feature
Protecting a young audience is also about not manipulating it. RIIP has no engagement dark patterns and no overpromised AI: recommendations fall back to transparent heuristics, and there is a visible kill-switch. A product that is honest about what it does and what it collects is safer for a minor than one that is merely compliant on paper.
The safest setting is the one a user never has to find. If protecting young players depends on them changing a default, you've already failed them.
Guardians can request data deletion at any time, and we respond within 30 days. Discovery for a young audience is not a constraint we work around — it is the standard the whole product is held to.
